I bought the D3F mainly for short rides and to keep in my camper van. It’s super lightweight and folds down small enough to carry like luggage. Setup was easy—done in 10 minutes.
It’s not the fastest bike, but for short commutes or weekend fun, it’s great. I get around 25–30 miles on a full charge, and it handles flat roads well. Not ideal for big hills, and the small wheels can feel bumpy on rough paths. But for this price, it’s a solid, fun ride that’s easy to take anywhere.
My DYU D3f has done only 164km in two years since new.
I’m waiting on heart surgery and can’t walk up the hill where I live , so can’t go down into the harbour and maintain my boat.
I’ve managed roughly 60 visits to my boat to carry out work , or just watch a movie and sleep out in that 2 years , so it’s not gone far but it’s been a life saver .
I’d have been housebound without it !
No problems with my bike I’ve ridden over 600miles all good. Love it
D3F is really worth buying for the price that it is. If your looking for something exciting , small, comfortable, powerful motor, fast , and is easy to assemble in under 5mins. I say it can go about 20 - 25 mph. I weight about 165 and it’s no problem.
